Gulf Oil Spill

This was my sixth trip down to New Orleans, the first five were made within the first year after Hurricane Katrina. Covering the oil spill called for reaching out to an endless amount of authorities and organizations in order to gain the access needed to the affected areas. It was a tough assignment but probably one of the most satisfying to see the finished product afterwards, seeing the amount of different angles I was able to cover with the limited time and resources I had. I will be posting more images on my website www.nczarnecki.com in the coming days so please take a look.

From Maine to Washington State via New York

It has been a while since I last posted, I've been spending most of my free time either building mountain biking trails or traveling. I've recently traveled up the coast of Maine photographing the lobster towns and lighthouses. Also out to Washington State to visit my brother David and friends with a stop in New York to catch the New York Auto Show (the strange undefinable image is of the roof at the Jacob Javits Center in NYC where the Auto Show was held.)
